The WACS website is easy to use. By following
the points below, you should rarely encounter any problems whilst
shopping here. Please ensure that you read everything on this page
before contacting us for technical help.
- Use the links on the left to browse through
our departments. Treat each one like an isle in a supermarket.
- Clicking on the links will display a list of sub departments.
Treat each one of these like a shelf in an isle.
- Pick the "shelf" that best describes
the type of product you're looking for and then you will be
presented with all the individual products on it.
- To add a product to your basket, simply click
the button marked, "add to basket" next to each product. If you want to add more than
one of the same item, you can do so quickly by entering the desired
number in the box marked quantity. If you only want 2 or 3 in number,
it is sometimes just as easy to click "add to basket" 2
or 3 times!
- As well as using the menus, you can also find products by using
the search boxes located throughout the website. Simply type
the name or part of the name of the product you're looking
for and click the arrow button which will display any items that
match your search. Keep your search terms short and simple.
- The contents of your basket (or order) will displayed as you
go along on the right hand side of the page. To edit the order
in any way, simply click "edit order" from underneath the order
summary on the right hand side of the page. If you have lots
of things in your basket, you may have to scroll down the page
to find the "edit order" button.
- The "order summary" page shows you a list of all the
products you have placed in your basket and you can amend the required
quantities or delete items altogether. To amend a quantity, simply
retype the quantity you require in the quantity box. Then press
"update quantities". To remove an item from your order,
simply, enter the value of "0" in the quantity field
and click "update
quantities". Once again, if you have lots of items in your
basket, you may have to scroll down the page to find the "update
quantities"
button.
- When you're happy with your order, click "checkout" which is
located on the right hand side of the page. This will take
you to a page that displays the final order, with a total amount
payable. Click continue.
- This will take you to a log-in page where you can log-in via
your existing account or create a new one. To create a new
account, click continue under the heading "new customers". To log-in
via an account you created previously, enter your email address
and password in the space provided.
- Please note that, when creating a new account, you must follow
the instructions on screen very carefully. Once you have submitted
your details, you will find yourself back at the "log-in" screen
mentioned above. Log-in using the email address and password
you specified when you created your account.
- The first screen you will see upon logging-in displays a list
of your delivery addresses. Select on of these using the "select
this address" button, or create a new one by clicking 'add
new address".
- The order confirmation page will be displayed which is your final
chance to amend any of the details pertaining to your order.
Please check everything carefully! Scroll to the bottom of
the page and click "confirm order".
- You will be connected to our cashier's secure payment server
to complete your purchase. Simply fill in the required information
on this page.
- Once you send your payment, a screen will appear to let you know
if your transaction was successful or not. If your transaction
was unsuccessful, click 'try again" to give it another go.
You may have entered some information incorrectly the first time.
If your transaction is successful, print the order confirmation
page that appears and keep it for your records.
